Additional Instructions

1.  In order to upload files to our FTP site, you will need FTP software.

2.  From your ftp software,

a. Type in the Host name: ftp.clients.cdmanufacturing.com

b. User name: clients

c. Password: art1art1

3.  Make a new folder (directory) with your name and place your files into your folder.  (Stuffed or zipped files work best and are highly recommended.)

4.  After a successful upload, please send an e-mail that alerts us to look for your files.  Send the e-mail to your project manager and cc the e-mail to info@cdmanufacturing.com

5.  After we receive your files, we will notify you that they have arrived.

6.  We will inspect the files and give you a preliminary report that indicates we have all of the necessary components, or not.  This information is critical to keeping the project completion date on target.

If you do not have ftp software, and you need to send files to us,
please follow these instructions.

1.  From your Internet browser, go to the website http://www.yousendit.com.

This site is used for file transfer, and has been very reliable.  All you need to do is enter the e-mail address you want to send an acknowledgement to, then browse to upload the file.  After the file is uploaded, an email is sent to the address you specified that indicates a file is ready to download. 

The only practical restriction is that you can send only 1 file at a time.  Therefore, it is best to stuff or zip all of the files you want to send.  Stuffing the files will also help the transfer process since stuffed files are much less prone to corruption.
